mr. Machiel van Driel RB

Machiel has studied Fiscal law at Leiden University and is the director of VAT Institute. Machiel is mainly engaged in advising non profit institutions.

Mr. Frank Resseler

Frank has studied Fiscal law at Leiden University. Frank  is mainly engaged in advising and training international businesses. Frank is also responsible for the Chinese clients of VAT Institute.

Mr. Dr. Matthijs van der Wulp

Matthijs has studied Dutch law at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Tax law at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Tilburg University. He obtained his doctorate with the dissertation ‘Real estate transactions in the European VAT’. Matthijs mainly litigates in objection and appeal procedures and provides publications for several Dutch tax journals. Matthijs is Head of Knowledge Management within VAT Institute and is a lecturer at Tilburg University.

Joanne Ligthart-de Bruin LLB

Joanne has completed the education HBO-Law and is mainly engaged in advising non profit institutions.

Daphne Stienen-van den Heuvel MSc

Daphne has studied Fiscal law at Tilburg University and is mainly engaged in advising non-profit institutions.

Ronald van den Hurk MSc

Ronald has studied Fiscal economics at Tilburg University and is mainly engaged in providing online VAT advice via BTW-PLAZA and thereby advices accountancy, administration and Vat consultancy offices .

Drs. Ariane van den Berg-Smolders MSc

Ariane has studied business administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam and completed the education to fiscal advisor at FSDC. Ariane mainly advises internationally operating organizations and is responsible for the clients of VAT Institute in the Middle East.  

Florian Bijvank

Florian is studying Fiscal law at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. He mainly processes registrations, refund claims and VAT returns and assists with VAT advisory services for companies and institutions.

Vivian Mok LLM

Vivian has studied Fiscal law at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. She is mainly engaged in advising international businesses and the Chinese clients of VAT Institute.

Lin Xu

Lin is the business development manager of the China team in the market of Greater China (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan). Together with the China team she assists Chinese companies with European VAT matters.
